Today's Agenda
Hey everyone, sorry you haven't heard from me in a while but I've been busy and just generally haven't really got around to blogging. I apologise but to be perfectly honest, I don't have a great deal out of the ordinary to say. Hopefully, I'll be staying in York over the summer if I can get a full-time job, despite threats from my Mum to give my room at home to my little sister. I've filled in a form for a job agency, and hopefully they'll be able to find me something decent to do that pays well. I liked working at the fair, I got what I needed out of it and the people were great (except Rob of course) but I don't know if I could do it full-time over the summer. Ideally, I'd like to be in an office or testing computer games. or running a brothel

Stoopid
I'm doing a group project in Politics at the moment and yesterday we had to go into York and ask people this questionnaire we designed about why people hold anti-EU views. A lot of the people we spoke to were incredibly stupid and didn't really know a lot about Europe and one guy was just totally thick and didn't have a clue about anything. One interesting thing is that most people we spoke to were pretty much anti-EU and the single currency but everybody said they think Britain will eventually join it so I guess there's a sense of inevitability about it.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...
I went to watch Star Wars Episode II on Thursday and it generallys gets a thumbs up. My expectations weren't that high, as before Episode I they were, and I was disappointed. I wouldn't say Attack of the Clones is the best Star Wars film but it was still pretty good and everyone should go and see it. The special effects were just incredible and I thought the chase sequence at the beginning and the final battle were particularly well done. I also thought Anakin Skywalker was well-played by Hayden
Christensen alsthough some of his emotional scenes felt a bit forced. I did find it hard to make the connection between Jake Lloyd in Phantom Mencace and Christensen in Attack of the Clones. I don't know, I found the continuity in that difficult to follow. Anyway, a good film, poor
screenplay and not great acting but visually and viscerally, it was amazing. And thankfully, not too much of Jar-Jar Binks to stomach...
